Mesa, Arizona (January 15, 2026) — SOLARCYCLE, a technology-based solar recycling company, today announced it has been named to the Global Cleantech 100 list for the second year in a row by Cleantech Group. The annual list recognizes the world’s most innovative and durable companies delivering solutions essential to a sustainable future.
SOLARCYCLE earned its second consecutive recognition following a year of execution and infrastructure buildout. Over the past year, SOLARCYCLE deployed next-generation de-framing and de-glassing technology with more than double the throughput of its first-generation lines and launched recycling operations at its new Cedartown, Georgia facility.
The company also expanded to five sites, secured an exclusive metals refining partnership, began accepting electronic balance-of-system (eBOS) materials, achieved customer commitments for more than 80% of its future solar glass factory capacity, and developed the first-ever solar module made with 50% recycled glass from end-of-life panels.
“This progress reflects a simple truth: solar recycling is no longer a future problem. It’s a present-day infrastructure opportunity,” said Suvi Sharma, SOLARCYCLE CEO and Co-Founder. “Solar energy continues to be the fastest-growing and lowest-cost source of new power. As solar deployment accelerates, so does the need for a scalable, cost-effective recycling solution. By our estimates, by 2030, the U.S. could retire 10 to 25 million panels annually. We view these panels as resource-rich assets containing the critical materials needed to build the energy infrastructure of the future.”
To date, SOLARCYCLE has diverted hundreds of thousands of solar panels from landfills, keeping valuable materials in circulation and strengthening domestic supply chains. The company will publish its latest impact report in the coming months.
This year’s Global Cleantech 100 reflects a more disciplined, risk-aware cleantech market, with recognition increasingly focused on companies demonstrating real traction, cost competitiveness, and durable demand. Selected from a highly competitive field amid significant list turnover, SOLARCYCLE was named alongside category leaders building scalable solutions aligned with today’s market realities. The company’s inclusion underscores the growing importance of circular infrastructure that delivers near-term value and supports the long-term resilience of the clean energy transition.
